Giulia Iacolutti was born in 1985. She is a photographer and visual artist and works on her personal projects in Latin America and Italy. Through different languages ​​and media, she explores socio-political themes related to resistance struggles for identity. Her work has been exhibited in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Italy, Mexico, Spain and the United States and she has published in national and international media including National Geographic, La Repubblica, Al Jazeera, L’Espresso and Gatopardo. Recent awards include the honourable mention at the Maria and Hector Garcia Foundation Photography Biennial, and nominations for the Joop Swart Masterclass, the 6x6 Global Talent Program World Press Photo and the Foam Paul Huf Award. In July 2019, she will publish her first book, Casa Azul, published by the (M) Éditions and Studiofaganel.
