Different types of formative activities have characterized CRAF over the years of its activities:

The workshops and photographic laboratories are distributed mostly during the summer and are inserted in the initiatives of ‘Spilimbergo Fotografia’; a matter of theoretical and practical encounters between a photographer and a group of students;

The courses or rather periods of formation of varying duration held by teachers and cultural operators in the sector, curators of museums, restorers and photographers who bring to it their specific knowledge;

The educational activity through which CRAF offers support and collaboration with the didactic activity of the scholastic institutions (from elementary school to the university) assisting and cooperating with the teachers in the realization of specific projects and hosting university lessons in which  the students can benefit from the collections of the archives for the study of the history and technique of photography;

Lastly the conventions and the encounters with the photographers inserted in the manifestation Spilimbergo Fotografia and the encounters and seminars on specific subjects.
